The element of EARTH is determining the choice of our suppliers and the materials that we use, exclusively produced by mother nature such as jute, cork, sand, wood and Fsc certificate paper, or generated via recycling processes.

With regards to our leather, Piovese Naturals is offering organic tanning, leather with reduced percentage of chrome and formaldehyde, without azo dye, being able to supply also non allergic leather. Our leather are fulling UNI 10594:2010 and UNI 10885:2000 requirements.

RECYCLED LEATHER

The recycled leather is obtained from a trituration process to a reassembly of 80% of leather scrap with a range of latex, synthetic compounds or natural rubbers( by the 20%). The manufacturing process is similar to that of the paper.

WHICH ARE THE BENEFITS IN USING RECYCLED LEATHER?

  • Environmentally-friendly
  • Economic advantage; between 30% and 50% label cost-saving
  • Less significant environmental impact, 5% of maximum wastage compared to up to 40% of wastage that occur for the manufacturing of traditional label
  • Reduces landfill costs
  • Low-emissions of natural gas: up to 50%,70% of natural gas usage
  • High durability: Composition leather’s reinforced textile core enables the leather to resist tearing and gives it greater elasticity
  • Bespoke colours are available plus various grains, structures and fastenings

This leather has been created specifically for making labels for pants and jeans.

BIODEGRADABLE
MATERIALS

We create labels in sustainable materials cellulose based, thanks to its natural composition the label will not impact on environment after its cycle of life.

Biodegradable label is soft and nice to the touch, we can add treatments and specific effects to give an unique look.

Our research is devoted to the Maisons who are commite to the respect of nature and animal species.

WHY CHOOSE BIODEGRADABLE METHODS?

  • they solve the waste disposal issue needed for the plastic derived from petroleum
  • they reduce the costs of the management of waste, which are particularly involved in the agri-food industry
  • biodegradable material as well as recycled
  • particularly hygienic material
  • lower emission of toxic fumes in the case of waste incarnation
  • cleaner production chain
